Talk about your artistry and what has inspired it.
In high school I excelled in both drama and poetry, but at that time it was merely an outlet rather than something that I appreciated. The genre of Spoken Word is a combination of Drama and Poetry. Through this art form, the Gospel takes center stage.
Tell us a little bit about your project.
Blindsided depicts my personal struggle to accept the call to do Spoken Word. It evolved from reciting one piece in 2005 for a women's event to a passion four years later.

Resilient. My entire life has been filled with numerous adversities. The resiliency that I inherited from my mother has given me a tenacious spirit that does not waver or quit.
